Why would a man with twenty years experience representing some of the most famous faces in the world be willing to offer this service to new and working models who need a little help?
Paul Fisher: I have spent half my life representing and working for some very powerful talent. I have a love hate relationship with this business. I love making peoples dreams come true but I hate the harm that the business causes in people’s perception of themselves. Being judged about ones physical features five times a day, twenty five times a week, 100 times a month, 1200 times a year can have a very harmful effect on person. Judge someone’s religious or political beliefs, OK one can deal with that… But having ones “looks” judges every day, living under that microscope can really mess with ones mind…. I have seen the most beautiful women in the world look in the mirror and hate what they see…
So I decided in January of this past year to create a business where I could reach as many models as possible and offer my advice and guidance… It wasn’t like I was curing cancer or doing anything great for the world. I was a powerful modeling agent, nothing more, and nothing less… I found that famous models sometimes aren’t that “appreciative” of the hard work it takes to oversee their careers and I received much more joy of helping the new faces get started and the models that needed that extra push --- ATN model advice was born!How can Paul Fisher possibly change my career?
Paul Fisher: Most people think they know but have no idea what pictures they should be showing to agencies, what photos should be seen by clients, what is the “right” agency for them, what facet of the industry they should be focusing on, high fashion, hosting, commercials, swimsuits, acting etc…. People spend YEARS wasting their time with the wrong photos, being with the wrong agency and trying to be a high fashion model when maybe they should be taking commercial workshops or hosting working shops…. If someone needs a doctor, they find a specialist. This is no different… I am not the only one who has the experience in creating stars that is for sure…There are many people who are great agents but try and get ten minutes of their time… Good luck!
If someone is going to spend years of their life on a career, why not get advice from an expert… someone who has a track record of creating star models, famous TV hosts and Designers. I pretty much suck at everything else in my life but I an expert in this world. Will this change your life? Your career? I don’t know… I have helped many people start in this business. I helped create many stars… I have also failed with certain models. This is not an exact science and I don’t have crystal ball. But I am good at what I do. I have booked over 1,000 covers of domestic and international magazines, over $80,000,000 worth of modeling business, contracts with Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Tommy, Versace, Victoria Secrets, Revlon, the Gap and my clients have been nominated for an Academy Award, Emmy Awards and have hosted many high rated TV shows and won countless other awards.And I can assure you; you don’t know what is “right” for your career… Your boyfriend does not know what is the best move for you, nor do your parents…. Would you ask them to operate on you? Then don’t ask them to give you advice about a career they have no experience in….
Can Paul Fisher really make me famous?

Fisher: NO, NO, and NO…. I don’t make people
famous… I don’t have a magical wand… No one does and if anybody
ever tells you they can make you famous run as fast as you can away
from them! Timing, destiny, a great agency that believes in them,
the right photos, luck, being appreciative, networking, social
skills, the right look at the right time, communication skills and
more…
Then once you start to do well I feel the ONLY way to stay on
top is to give back, share… To understand that your success is a
blessing and if you treat it badly, it will be the one thing that
hurts you for many years to come…Share until it hurts! Again, I
don’t make people famous, the universe does! If I though I made
people famous, that would be my ego speaking, not my soul!
What do I need to get started in a modeling career?
Paul Fisher : this really depends… If you are a young 14 to 18 year old girl or boy wanting to do fashion modeling, all you need is a few Polaroid’s. I put Carre Otis on the cover of Vogue and got her the Guess campaign with a few Polaroid’s… If you aren’t “perfect” looking and the exactly right age, then you have to find a photographer that can make you look “right” ---- Right for the market you are going for. Right for the agency you are trying to sing with… What “right” is, that is where I come in… as I said before, YOU don’t know… The “right” photos could cost a few pennies… They are investment in YOUR career. Any new business takes an investment to start and you are no different… Sure there are people out there who will shoot you for free. But I say… you get what you pay for! Get a job, earn $500 and get a great set of pictures! It feels better when one earns things vs. being given them….
I’m with an agency and I want to know how to take my career to the next level?
Paul Fisher : Is it the “right” agency? Do they believe in you enough to introduce you to the most important decision makers? Who are the decision makers? Who can take your career to another level? A photographer? A magazine? A designer? Or all of the above? The answer is “all of the above” ---- The “right” photographer, designer or magazine can take your career to another level… I answer this question much more in depth in the one on one consultation that is offered. It can’t be answered in just a few lines and is dependent on various factors.
How do I start a career in hosting on a TV show?
Paul Fisher: : I started Brooke Burke who had her own show on E and just won “dancing with the stars”… She is an incredible person… Nice is an understatement. You need a video of yourself, the right video. You need a hosting agent, and I know the best. You need to have that agent believe in you and send you and your video to the networks and to all the shows that use hosts…
I live in the Midwest but really want to Model, how do I that?
Paul Fisher : You have to send your photos... the “right” photos to the right agencies, in the right cities and then pray. (NY, London, Paris, Milan, LA, Miami, Australia, Tokyo) Pray that you selected the right photos. Pray that you sent the right photos to the right agency in the right city. Pray that when they opened up the email or the envelope that contains your photos, the agent in the new faces division has vision…
How do I find an agency to represent me?
Paul Fisher: It is not hard to find an agency to represent you but it is REALLY hard to find the “right” agency.
Why do models go to Europe to Model?
Paul Fisher: It is simple answer, we have five fashion magazines in the states, and in Europe there are 105…. Need I say more? More magazine work which means more chances to build your portfolio. We call Europe College and NY the working world. We call your portfolio your resume… Go to college and build your resume!!!! Then back to the working world and earn your living. I could go on about this for hours!!!!
I am five foot five inches tall, am I too short to model?
Paul Fisher: You might be too short to be a fashion model, there only has been one famous model under the height of 5’9” in the past 20 years, Kate Moss. Can you name another? I know, you will be the next Kate Moss. Many have said that and many have failed at that…. Commercials, Hosting, acting and certain modeling but maybe not superstar modeling! There are reasons why there are height requirements to become a high fashion model, the size of the clothes made by the designers for the fashion shows and magazines, how clothes look on a taller girl in the eyes of the designers, matching up with the other girls and many other reasons.
Why should I sign up for a one on one consulting with Paul Fisher?
Paul Fisher: I never ever suggest for anybody to want a career as a model… I actually suggest against it. But if you have a dream and you really want to do this, then weather it is getting advice from me or from someone else who has a track record of representing top talent, don’t waste any more time running in place…. Don’t waste time with the wrong pictures, the wrong agency, trying to be a high fashion model when perhaps you are perfect for hosting and commercials… You can’t fit a square peg into a round whole, FIND THE ROUND WHOLE… I have a track record of finding the round whole for people…
